I did this for IC156 over on SCS.

I recently won a Unity/Tinkering Ink pkg from a Unity Hip Hop.
It came in today's mail and I had to play!

I stamped the background in Bravo Burgandy on the cream card front using Bright Snow by Unity

The ornament and blue snowflake paper is Tinkering Ink.

I cut the Top Note out of the front of the card, and cut one using the blue snowflake paper.
I used the quickie glue pen to add some dazzling diamonds to the snowflakes on the blue paper.

The die cut ornament is 'free floating' in the open top note cut out.

Wreath Angel

This sketch is from SC204 over on SCS.

I just love this Wreath Angel stamp by Stampendous!
I shimmered her up with Candle Light Shimmerz on her wings and Angel Wings Shimmerz on her dress.



Basic Grey is my fave dp I think!
I used the Sugared 6x6 pad for all dp on this card...red pattern, green pattern and solid green.
I love how I got a Christmas 'look' without using Christmas paper!!

I finished off the card with Kaisercraft Pearls in Champagne and 1.5" Satin Scallop Ribbon in Ivory.

Wow, what an amazing year, I have so much to be thankful for!
My amazing DH, my wonderful parents, our fabulous church...!
And I'm so very thankful to the Lord for all of his blessings!

While some of us are busy pouring gravy all over our turkey and mashed potatoes, I know there are an equal number of people out there who are pouring over the Black Friday sales ads!
I can hear them shouting "Bring on the sales!".
They must have been listening over at Limelight, because not only do they have some awesome sales scheduled for Black Friday, they also have a challenge focusing on all things black!
How easy is that?! Anything black will do, although, I recommend the Black Magic cardstock, black licorice Pixee Stix glitter, or black fun flock!

Wellll....as you can see I'm missing the 3rd square in the sketch...I had made all three pieces but they didn't fit!!!!

I used the Dazzling Danglers stamp by TaDa.
I stamped the 'round' ornament in pink all over the pink background piece - which is a sheet from the Basic Grey Sugared 6x6 pad.

I then used a quickie glue pen to adhere black glitter to the ornaments.
There is also a black rhinestone at the top and a clear rhinestone in the middle of each of the ornaments. It is so sparklin' in real life!



I used reversible black/silver ribbon and finished it off with three more black rhinestones in the top left corner.

Snow-Cone

I'm still lovin' on my Autumn Pinecone that I won from Unity!

I stamed the pinecone twice onto Kraft paper with Adirondak Espresso ink.
I cut them both out...and then cut one of them up. I glued the 'base' of the cut up pieces onto the whole pincecone and 'ruffed up' the ends for some dimension.

I used white liquid applique and Snowdrift Sparkle Fibers for my snow.



Added some ribbon, brads and CB folders and ended up with this card!

Stamp Club Stuff

I went to stamp club yesterday and just had to share what we did!

My fabulous demo, Sheri Lewis, always has the most FABU projects for us!

First off was her version of a mini pizza box to be used as a gift card holder.



I just LOVE this size and 'skinny-ness' of this, perfect for a gift card!



Next up was this GORGEOUS Christmas card!!!



We are also going to be making planners/journals/photo books/whatever-you-want-it-to-be.
This week, we worked on the covers.
Here's mine so far....LOVED the idea of the copper embossing!
I will put ribbon on the left side...just trying to find THE perfect ribbon!

Happy Hip Hop Hangover FRIDAY!

Have you seen THIS on the Unity forum? Go check it out, that's what this project is for!
So THIS is Lynn's project that I got the idea from.

The base is Kraft paper, I distressed the edges with my Heidi Swapp distresser tool.
Next I layered on some of the GORGEOUS WASSAIL papers!

The Luke 2:14 Glorious Angel is stamped on and matted in more beautiful wassail paper.

I paper pieced her dress and wings with even more Basic Grey papers! Um..yeah, I'm addicted to BG paper! LOL! (Details at the bottom of the post about when you can get the Angel stamp for only $3.50)

The 'gold' color for the wings is from the Sugared pad but all other papers (except the Kraft) is from the Wassail pad.



For some shimmer on the wings, I went over them with Candle Light SHIMMERZ! Ooo....pretty!!!
I also only adhered the 'insides' of the wings and 'curled up' the edges for some dimension.

I used three tiny chocolate pearls on the angel's dress.

I embellished with the coordinating Basic Grey Wassail BUTTONS.
And, a rub-on from the Crate Paper Blue Hill Rub-ons.

I finished up by using this gorgeous CHOCOLATE SCALLOPED EDGE SATIN RIBBON for the 'hanger.'
This ribbon is so luxurious! It is one of the many NEW ribbons at Limelight.

I came across a tutorial yesterday for this box using Top Note!
Isn't it cute??!!!

I used spicas and dazzling diamonds to shimmer up this cutie penguin.
And, how about this RED TWILL?! It is so fabulous!

I just LOVE this butterfly stamp and this butterfly paper!
The stamp is Alluring Butterfly and the paper is from the Basic Grey 6x6 pad Ambrosia.

I used Bic Mark Its to color two butterflies, one on the main Basic Grey white piece and another so I could cut out the wings and pop them up on dimensionals.



I used three bronze rhinestones on the 'corner' of the main image.

Another challenge card for the WRAK challenges, this one is for WRFTGCC0807.

I absolutely love to go sit in the coffee shops at Barnes & Noble, Borders.... and read stamping magazines!

To paper piece an image that was RAK'd to me, I trace onto vellum, lay the vellum over my dp and then cut.

Sleigh Bells Ring....

Well, there is no sleigh on this card....but there is a bell!

I added a tiny bell to this sassy reindeer's collar...
but I didn't think Deer Bells Ring sounded as catchy... LOL!



This Reindeer is from The Magic of Christmas by Rupa Shevde at Gina K Designs.
Thanks to LuvLee for sending me this beautiful image!
The reindeer is colored with copics and then I went over with a clear spica for some shimmer.
The collar is done with a gold spica and I attached a small bell with crystal effects.

Add some metallic gold paper, gold organdy, red rhinestones and this card is all shimmery and dazzling!

Oh how I love the kitty stamps by Pink Cat Studio!
This adorable image and sentiment are from the Christmas Kitty set.

I decided to go with non-traditional Christmas colors.
The super cute striped paper is Kaisercraft Sorbet Mint Fudge. Sounds YUMMY!
The pink piece on the top half is from the Basic Grey Sultry 6x6 pad.
AND, check out that totally fabu ribbon ~ Fuzzy/Center Dot Ribbon-Olive/Sage!!! Mandy has LOTS of NEW ribbons in the store so be sure the check them out!!



The sparkle on the tree is from Pixee Stix Silver Berry glitter.
There are 3 rhinestones under the sentiment for some dazzle.
The buttons in the lower right corner are from the Basic Grey Wassail Buttons pack.
And, I used two silver brads at the top.

On to card #2:



Isn't this angel so sweet? It's just so Christmas-y! It is the Luke 2:14 Glorious Angel by Unity.
All of the paper on this card (except for the chocolate chip scalloped circle) is from the Basic Grey Wassail 6x6 pad.

I stamped her onto the 'white' paper from the Wassail pad and then again on the 'red' paper from the Wassail pad so that I could paper piece the angel's dress.
When I paper piece, I like to run the pieces through my Xyron so that it's good and sticky all over so it sticks well and lays flat to the 'main' piece.



Her wings are covered with SHIMMERZ!
I used the Candle Light Shimmerz. One thing I like about Shimmerz is that the black lines that you paint over still show through. However, I did go back and trace the black swirls in the wings so that they would stand out a little more.

The ribbon is one of my favorite ribbons at Limelight: Brown/Antique Gold.
The buttons on this card are also from the pack of Wassail Buttons.
And, there are two gold brads at the top.
