My card:

For my chipboard element I used the Basic Grey Hip Chipboard Mini Monograms...yep, you're right, I LOVE THESE!

To get them nice and shimmery, I painted the naked chipboard with Angels Wing Shimmerz.

The shimmering ribbon underneath is so gorgeous in person, it's the Sheer/Twinkle Ribbon ~ and it's only .32/yd!

All patterned paper on this card is from the Basic Grey Wassail 6x6 pad.

The angel is Wreath Angel by Stampendous.
I think this is my favorite Christmas stamp!
I also used Angels Wings Shimmerz on her wings.



The berries with my holly leaves in the lower left corner are Red Pearls.

An Indian Summer Butterfly & a SALE!

This Ruffled Butterfly is one of my FAVorite Stampendous stamps.

For the butterfly:
I stamped it onto a piece of Indian Summer and cut it out.
Then I stamped it onto acetate and cut that out.
For the butterfly's 'ruffles' I added Platimun Stickles.

The paper on the bottom of the card and the paper behind the butterfly are both from the new Basic Grey Indian Summer 6x6 pad.

I finished it off with this gorgeous Textured Rose/Pink Ribbon.

I totally LOVE penguins!!

I used a piece of paper from the Basic Grey Wassail 6x6 pad for the background.



The 'fur' on their hats are covered with Cotton Ball White Fun Flock.
And their bellies are all shimmery from Angel Wings Shimmerz.

I finished it off with a piece of Red Polka Dot Ribbon.

I colored with Copics, Bics and Sharpies.

This card makes me thing SPRING!!

I stamped Ruffled Butterfly in black onto Basic Grey Two Scoops.
All dp on this card is from Basic Grey Two Scoops!

I adhered Snowdrift Sparkle Fibers on the butterfly's 'ruffles.'



This sentiment is Happy Birthday (Whimsy).
I stapled a bit of 3/8" White Satin Ribbon to the sentiment.

To finish it off I used 5 Snow Pearls at the top left of the Top Note die.

Friends & Chocolate

It's the 6th of the month ~ that means the Limelight Papercrafts Chicks have a project to share!

This month our theme was ~ A Valentine's Day Gift you can give to a Friend.

Friends & Chocolate go together pretty good to me!!!



I stamped Chocolate Friends by Stampendous in Adirondak Espresso.
The papers are from the Basic Grey Bittersweet 6x6 pad.

I embellished with Petunia Tulle Ribbon and Soft Pink Rhinestones.



I used Mod Podge to adhere the heart paper from the Basic Grey Bittersweet 6x6 pad to the tin top. And used 3/8" Brown Satin Ribbon along the edge of the lid.



To embellish the top I tied on some Petunia Tulle Ribbon and added Soft Pink Rhinestones to two of the corners.

I fell in LOVE with this Skippin' Bee and Sprinklin' Luv the moment I laid eyes on 'em!

The brown, striped and pink paper is all from the Basic Grey Bittersweet 6x6 pad.

I used Angel Wings Shimmerz on the wings and the bee body for some shimmer/sparkle!
And used Pixee Stix Raspberry and Stampendous Pink Ultrafine Pastel glitters on the hearts.


I embellished with my favorite ribbon by May Arts, Chino Pearls and Soft Pink Rhinestones.

I just looove thie Pinwheel Trio stamp!
I stamped it two times: once on the white piece and then again on some Basic Grey Bittersweet paper.
I cut out the ones on the dp and adhered them to the white piece only in the center so the edges of the 'wheels' would be 3-D.
I added a Soft Pink Rhinestone in the center of each wheel.



All patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Bittersweet 6x6 pad.

The ribbon is THIS reversible pink ribbon ~ It is GORGEOUS!.

I used the Love Goes 'Round sentiment stamp in the lower left corner as my 2nd stamp.

I finished it off by adding Rose pearls in the upper left and bottom right corners...Lee style, LOL ~ I love the way Lee uses pearls!

This is for IC163. THIS was my inspiration piece.

I used Love Goes 'Round by Stampendous...this stamp arrived in my mailbox TODAY and I couldn't wait to ink it up!
I used Adirondak Espresso ink...my FAVE brown ink!

Limelight January Project

It's the 6th of the month so that means the Limelight Papercrafts 6 Chicks have a project to share!

The theme this month is a project that can be done WITH or
FOR kids.




I used THIS tutorial from SCS to make these cocoa holders.

I think these would make perfect treats for kiddos to hand out for Valentine's day, treats at birthday parties...etc.
They are simple to make, just a few folds...so if your kiddo is old enough, they can make these themselves!

I LOVE this Changito Cocoa stamp!
I stamped him in black and colored him in with Copics, Bic Mark Its and Sharpies.
And I embellished each winter hat with a hot pink rhinestone.
