Wanna Win Something??

WINNER ANNOUNCED ~ Congrats to Jan Farnworth!!

Hi my Stamping Friends!

Have you noticed that button in the top right corner of my blog?

Well, a wonderful lady at DH's work is participating in the walk, this is straight from her site:

Hello! This year, I'll be taking part in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes on October 18th, along with one-half million other walkers across the country at various other walks, as we try to reach our goal of raising $100 million.

Type 1, or juvenile, diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of people a large and growing percentage of them children, one of them being my 6 year old Mattie (the picture shown here is of Mattie and me at the awards dinner in January 2008 after she had received her "Golden Sneaker" for raising over $2,500.00 for the 2007 walk).

There is some good news, though. For the first time, scientists are predicting that we CAN expect to see a cure well within our lifetime!

Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible? Together, we can make the cure a reality!

If you would like to help the children, like Mattie, at are afflicted with this disease then please click on donate or better yet join us Saturday, October 18th at Centinial Olympic Park. Either or both would really be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Martha

SO ~ I'm sure you noticed that my post title mentioned the word WIN . . .

I want you to send a card to Mattie!

Post a link to a picture of your card in the comments section on this post and you'll be in the drawing to win some UNITY STAMPS!

Just email me for the address, there is a link to my email down the right side of my blog. ----->

How about the Delectable Delights kit??!!!
(If you already have this kit, and you WIN, don't worry, we'll work together so ya get something you don't already have!)

If you're able to donate, I know she'd appreciate it!
Just click the button up there and it will take you to the page to donate and/or find out more about the walk.

AND ~ post another comment if you made a donation (any amount, even just $5, every little bit helps) and you'll get an extra entry!
Be sure to let me know the name the donation is under on her page so I can verify it for your extra comment.

The walk is on the 18th so I will draw a winner on Sunday, Oct 19th! ETA: Drawing will be 10/20!

I will draw names from a 'hat' instead of using a random number generator. Seems to give everyone a better shot!

Thanks everyone!
Can't wait to see your cards!

I made a card (with a twist). I left the image uncolored so Mattie can color it and chose a sentiment and send it to one of her friends. Hope she likes it!!

It's a sparkly Cinderella card. My little sister (age 9) loves Cinderella so hopefully Mattie will, too!
