A Little Tin

Now that this has arrived at it's destination (Mandy at Limelight!!)~ I can share it with you!

This is another one of those Michael's gift cards tins (like I used HERE) that I got for .10 after Christmas last year!

I used modpodge to adhere my paper, which is from the Basic Grey Wassail 6x6 pad.
I punched out two flourishes and mod podged them on and then did a mod podge 'top coat' over the whole thing.

I used the Martha Stewart Snowflake 2008 punch to make three snowflakes and embellished them with red pearls.

I finished off the edge of the lid with red ribbon.

HHH Friday!

Yesterday was 'Hip Hop Thursday' in the Unity forum on SCS!
Soooo....that means today is Hip Hop Hangover!
Here are my two challenge cards:



This is for the Distress Challenge.
I used my heidi swapp edge distresser.
And thought the twill looked kinda distressed.



This birdie and sentiment come from the Birds of a Feather kit ~ one of my latest Unity purchases and this was my first time inking it up!

And I just LOVE these chocolate pearls!!!

This for a 'Pie' Challenge ~ chcolate for the crust, vanilla for the cream, and another color for the filling!

I brushed Candle Light Shimmerz on the angel's wings and dress.

The dress is paper pieced with Bella Rose by SU.
The 'friends' sentiment is a rub-on from Chateau Bella by SU.

It's time for a Limelight Papercrafts Sketch Challenge!

Here's mine ~ I flipped it:


I started off by stamping JenMarie's Cupcake Owl (Odd Bird Planet) on top of one of the cupcakes from Cupcakes A La Yummy (Unity).

I then used papers from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie 6x6 pad to paper piece the cupcake frosting and wrapper.
All dp on this card is from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie 6x6 pad.

I stamped Happy Birthday (Odd Bird Planet) and then embellished with Pink Satin Scalloped Edge Ribbon and Basic Grey Urban Prairie buttons!

Bunny Slippers

This was for DEC08MFTA1.
This card uses the My Favorite Things Set: Bunny Slippers.

There is white fun flock on the white parts of the robe and a rhinestone at the tie.

The paper and buttons are Basic Grey Urban Prairie! I just LOVE it!
