Dashing Through the Snow

OMGosh, it was so HOT today.....so I had to make a cooool card!

This is for the June My Favorite Things Ambassador Challenge #1.
The challenge was to make a 3x3 card and coordinating envie.

I just LOVE this MFT Set, Winter Blast. I'm a *serious* penguin fan so this set is right up my alley!
The little penguins are colored with a black spica and a sakura stardust pen...they are sparklin'! They are also popped up on dimensionals.

Mojo40 Warm and Fuzzy Penguin

This is for Julee's Mojo40 sketch on her blog: Poetic Artistry.

I have L O V E D this Penguin Hugs set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps since it first came out! I FINALLY got it and this is my first card.

The penguin is paper pieced with DCWV Black Vines Vellum....I adhered it to the penguin by running it through my little 'X' xyron machine.

I used a Sakura Stardust pen to make the dots on the black scallop circle around the penguin and to outline the words 'warm' and 'fuzzy.'

The penguins little face is colored in with a clear Spica.

That white ric rac is VELVET...I thought it added to the 'warm and fuzzy' feel of the card.

I've got some exciting news!
I just got an email from Dave at Stamp Color Create. DH and I thought up some ideas for THIS CONTEST and they picked one of DH's ideas that I submitted! ....the above pic is a hint....
O.M.Goodness!!! Eeeeeekkkkk!!! How exciting is this??!!!
So...I'll be getting the stamp they made.
I can't wait for the new penguins to debut!
