It's the 6th of the month so that means us Limelight Chickies have a project to share!
The month's theme is Stars and Stripes!
Doesn't have to be patriotic, but mine is:
I've been wanting to make a banner using the bazzill stars (psst ~ they're on sale this week!) for quite some time and this was the perfect opportunity!
I covered the stars with baja breeze and then stamped Hearts of Old (on sale!) in Versamark.
Next I lined the star edges with some white ric rac.
I used the Basic Grey Hip Chipboard Mini Monograms for my letters. They are self-adhesive!
TIP ~ before glittering your chipboard, color it first...that way you won't see the 'holes' the glitter leaves.
I just used a red Bic Mark It to color my letters before covering in Strawberry Glitter (on sale!!).
I finished it off with ribbons... Here are the ones I used:
Sheer Twinkle Ribbon (I cut the width in half)
3/8 Sheer Red with White Dots
3/8 Red Striped Ribbon
3/8 White Satin Ribbon
