It's about time . . .

I just love how this turned out!

This is an alterable chipboard clock by Kaisercraft.
Ever since I saw these at Limelight Papercrafts I couldn't wait to try one!

The brown numbers are cut out using a sizzix die.
I used my xyron to adhere them to the piece of 1974 Boogie Down paper by Paper Trunk.
Then I used mod podge to adhere the dp to the clock.



The clock has a built in 'frame' in the upper left corner...I'll be able to switch out quotes, photos or whatever.
Right now I used a Unity stamp: Wait for the Lord in close to cocoa onto a piece of the 1974 Boogie Down dp.



I embellished with Essentials 4 Dude Primas with Chino Pearls in the centers.....and the sparkling swirls are Silver Rhinestones.

DRS Day!

Hi, it's 3/27! And that means it's my Feature Friday over at DRS!

Cathy at DRS sent me some beautiful Easter stamps and here is what I came up with:

The daffodils are popped up on dimensionals and covered with a Sakura Glaze Pen.
I embellished with Snow Pearls and White Organdy Ribbon.


For this card I used the Woodgraining Technique I learned from StampTV.
Again, the flowers are covered with a Sakura Glaze Pen.


How fabulous is this cat image??!!! I just LOVE it!
I kept the kitty all sassy with a rhinestone collar! ;)
The kitty is covered in Cotton Ball White Fun Flock.
The ribbon is sheer pink with white dots.

Easter's on it's way...

It's the 6th of the month so that means that us Limelight Chicks have a project for you!
This month it's Easter Baskets!

I have TWO projects to share with you AND a fabulous promo starting TODAY at Limelight Papercrafts!



1st up is this little paper basket and notecard.
I saw something similar recently on a blog and can't find it now for the life of me so I just did my own thing.

I cut a piece of dp from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie 6x6 pad into six 1 inch strips.
I stacked them on top of one another, punched a hole at each end, attached Bittersweet brads...and then pulled the papers apart until I had a basket shape.



I used the 5/8" textured ribbon in rose/pink for the handle and bows.

Next up is a coaster basket!



Again, I used papers from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie 6x6 pad.
For some sparkle on the 'front' I added rhinestones to the butterflies on the paper!



I tied the coasters together with sheer white polka dot ribbon.



The handle is pink satin scalloped edge ribbon attached to the coasters with Bittersweet brads.

I embellished with Urban Prairie buttons and yellow rhinestones(they are a great yellow-green color)!

Gettin' Whimsical Again!

Remember in my last post I mentioned a DT op for Whimsy Stamps?
You can get the details HERE! Deadline TODAY!
I just had to make another card for the Call. I LOVE animal stamps and had so much fun with this card!

I colored the mousie with Copic E21 Baby Skin Pink and the scarf with Bic Mark It Tranquil Teal.
The snowdrops and puddle are colored in Copic BG10 Cool Shadow.
Then I used my quickie glue pen to adhere Snowdrift Sparkle fibers to the snow!



For embellishments I punched a snowflake and branches using Martha Stewart punches for the top left corner.
And I LOVE ribbon...so I used MS Cloud Craft Seam Binding and May Arts Sheer Brown with White Dots.



And I just love this sentiment with this image!
The sentiment is from Tag Lines by Gina K Designs.

Both designer papers are by My Mind's Eye.
