Limelight Project Parade ~ A Gift Card Bouquet!

It's the 6th of the month!

...so that means...
The Limelight Papercrafts Chicks have a project to share today!

It's a Gift Card Bouquet!

I've been to some parties and shower where the 'prizes' for the games were gift cards!
(around $5 each)

Here is a cute idea for how to show them off at your soiree!

This metal stand is a photo holder from The Container Store.
You could also use bamboo skewers and place them in a cute flower pot or vase.

I'll show you each up close and then a picture tutorial on how to make them.

This one is my favorite!!

All patterned paper is from the Webster's Pages Garden Gala/Seaside Retreat/Nature's Storybook 6x6 paper pack.
OMGoodness, this is THE BEST paper!!!

I just love the image on this one...I paired it with the 'Cafe a la Friendship' sentiment from the Unity Feb 10 Store KOM: Life is Fabulous.

This holder would be perfect for a coffee shop gift card!!

More totally fabulous Webster's Pages paper.

This time it's great for a book store gift card!!

I embellished with 2 Basic Grey Buttons tied with May Arts Burlap String in Natural.

The ribbon to hold it closed is May Arts 1.5" Ivory Silk Ribbon.

And this one is fabulous for a gift card for some yummy Chinese food!

The sentiment is also from the Unity Feb 10 Store KOM: Life is Fabulous.

The ribbon is May Arts 1.5" Taupe Silk Ribbon.

Want to make some of these?
Here's how...
I originally learned this concept from former Limelight Designer Ryann Salamon.

1. Cut an 8.5 x 11 sheet of cardstock in half lengthwise.

2. Score at 4, 5.5 and 7 as seen below:

3. Fold along score lines:

4. Use adhesive to 'attach' the gift card holder part:

5. I used the word window punch and a circle punch to make a place for the gift card to 'sit' :

6. Complete holder by embellishing as you wish!
